Has anyone here with a 3rd gen experienced a 350 TPI just shut off for no reason while driving. The tach jumps about and then the car dies.... about an hour later it will run again. You have to love these car games All aboard the Yankee express, next stop October.....
Sounds like low resistance in the distributor pickup coil. Many times you can see the pickup coil insulation as yellow dust on the distributor base under the cap. Another possible cause would be the module but they don't seem to fail like they used to.
