Have an '02 Explorer Eddie Bauer 2wd V-6. 22000 miles so far.
Bought it new and have noticed it has a very rough ride and is very 'bouncy' over the bumps, etc.
Has anyone else noticed this with this engine and drive train configuration?
Anyone have any suggestions?
I am ready to get some softer shocks / struts intalled if that would help.

Stock shocks don't normally last too long, but at 22000 miles, that sounds soon... Do you live down a bumpy dirt road? :)
I just put on Reflex shocks, after 50k on my '00 XLT 4WD, and I noticed a lot of bounce is gone. I used SensaTrac shocks on my '96 which did an okay job, never compared them to anything else, but I think the Reflex feel pretty good.
