'91 Explorer sunroof question

I have a '91 Explorer with 370 thousand kliks on it. The glass sunroof seal has apparently decided to stop sealing as it whistles at speed. The dealership says it doesn't have a replacement seal, so short of sealing it up with silicone I'm not sure what else to do. Does anyone have any other ideas?

Other than the sunroof the vehicle is excellent..

Same thing happened to me, with an 85 Buick Century... dealer doesn't carry moonroof seal, nobody knows where to get one, company (American Sunroof Corp.) out of business, yadiyadiya... :(

When I went to the dealer, nobody could even figure out if it was factory or aftermarket. The dealership's guys said it was aftermarket, the aftermarket guy they called in said it was factory. Eventually, they both said they couldn't fix it. They tried to tell me where I could go in Boston to find out if it could be fixed. That's just what I need! I already have a job, I don't need to learn their job too. They told me they could install a new moonroof for $850. Like I'm going to let someone who can't even identify a moonroof or replace a simple seal do an installation! Yeah, RIGHT...

So I told them where they could go, and sealed it up with black silicone. So much for a nice car with a moonroof...

I'll never buy a car with a sunroof/moonroof again!
