`94 Headlight Switch Problem?

Question

The instrument panel lights are dark unless the switch is rotated completely to the "click on" position, where the interior lights and panel lights all go on together. Could that be a fuse somewhere besides the fuse panel? Is it a bad switch? If the switch is bad, is it a horrorshow to replace? I saw the "glue" link for instrument panels, but it was for a `97. Thanks for your advice in advance.

It's most likely that the switch is bad.  My 92 isn't as bad as your'sbut it's getting flaky and sometimes goes dark till you fiddle withthe brightness adjustment by turning it.
