96 explorer ac/heater

Hi I just bougth a used explorer a few weeks ago 110k on it and this morning the temp control does what it wants. Turns on ok and all the buttons work but it will not shut off. The fan stays on all the time. Can these be reset? Thanks very much. AL Sproule
