I just found out that I have a burnt out brake light and just tried to change and was unsuccesful. There are 2 big screws on the top side of the light but it seems that there are 2 more that I can not get to. Am I missing something? Any advice would be appreciated.

No, not missing anything. Remove the two screws on top and pull out (firmly) assembly. You should feel friction due to the design, but there are not anymore screws...
Good luck,
Steven
Yes, just as Steven says. The unit will make a horrible, expensive sounding noise as it comes away from the body. Don't worry, it's just the springy retaining clips making the noise.

Thanks for your help. It was a horrible sound but it came right out..........
