Disconnecting the Drivetrain on a 98EB

I have a 98EB and need to tow it. I have heard that I can disconnect the drivetrain and put it on a tow dolly. Is that true without any damage? Also, does anyone know how to do it?

There is a kit that you can get installed that does this at the transfer case. You need to have the control trac transfer case.
