Secret codes needed for Ford/Lincoln 2004 navigation system to disable Safety features

Hi

I am in need of the pin code for the Denso (factory navigation that is installed in 2004 Lincoln/Ford/Cadallic/Mercury vehicles)

My problem is when I am driving the navigation system doesn't allow me to push buttons on the touchscreen. It is some kind of safety feature and I want to disable it. Ford engineer said there is a pin code but he would not tell me.

The software is made by viseon for the denso navigation system.

HELP, I need the secret code to put into it to disable the safety features that we all hate.

Thanks!

Another fine example of why those safety features are needed. All he needs now is a DVD player to be playing with while driving.

Hi,

I have a 2004 Expedition and have the same problem. I hate it. If you find out send me an email. I will do the same.

Reply to others:

1) What?s wrong with my wife entering destination when I drive. 2) I'm sure its safer entering the destination then seeing someone parked on the side of a major highway. 3) What about the scary fact of pulling over is some crappy neighborhood.

4) Also, I see people backing up on highways when they miss an exit. If they had navigation system this might help those idiots.

These are the real causes of people getting hurt or killed.

Nothing... why are you in such a rush that you need to embark upon your trip before you know where you're going? Just as 'nobody' talks on the cell phone while driving, 'nobody' will try to program the trip minder while driving.

If you are unfamiliar with an area, the smart money is on programming the device BEFORE setting out....

After you enter a scary neighbourhood is the wrong time to think about programming the destination.

Whenever a device is made that is "idiot proof", society breeds better idiots..... like the ones that want to program navigation computers whilst driving.....

The real causes of injury and death are lapses in attention, lapses in judgement or a failure to understand some very basic concepts of physics. These are all attributed to the human condition and the blinders that so many people seem to wear ("I am too important to adhere to rules and convention"). What you are after is one more chance to qualify for a Darwin.....
