The fuse link for my fuel pump/radiator fan is burnt. This is located by the stater relay near the battery.There is not enough wire left to put a connector on. Is it ok to open up the rubber block that the wire comes out of? There are three wires going into the rubber block, which is about 1 inch long and a half inch wide, and one wire coming out which goes tho the starter relay. This is the fuse link. thanks

You can open it if you want, just dont damage anything else in the process. It would probably be easier to just get to the wire before the rubber block though- and bypass the block.
