Does anyone know how to turn the service spanner off in a 1998 Ford Falcon AU?

to reset the indicator, turn the ignition to on (engine not running) then press and hold the tripmeter reset shaft for approximately 10 seconds, or until the instrument panel beeps. works on my 2001 AU11
