Aerostar Regular Maintenance

Looks like I'm going to be holding on to this '97 for a few more years. = Can anyone recommend what types of servicing it should have at 130K? = Routine oil & coolant change, lube & tune-ups have been done regularly. = No other servicing or repairs have been done, other than replacing the = current bad PS pump.

Only other "damage" is with the interior panels. Every stinking screw = used to fasten them down has popped through the plastic at one time or = another and has been replaced by those with wider heads or washers = added.

Thanks!

The potentially problematic (only because they got neglected) A4LD tranny was gone by '97, but a good rule of thumb is to change tranny oil every 25K or sooner. Those "one time" plastic body rivets can be found at a good auto parts store, probably in the "HELP" lazy susan racks. On a previous Aerostar of mine, I got really cheap with the fasteners. I drilled a hole through a penny and used a sheet metal screw through the penny to hold the body panels to the frame. Lube the rollers on the sliding door religiously.
