So? Most providers are ditching it...have been for a few years now. Why don't you just get a free newsreader? As long as you have internet, you have usenet for free. Try

register (it's free, just that they make you register to keep spammers away), then change the settings in your reader to the new service.... It's better anyway...
Google has a lot of the groups. You can post through Google. Like this post.
