cooling fan clutch ranger p-up

Do you spin the 1 1/2 nut behind the fan off to replace a cracking fan bladeon a ranger? If so, is it a reverse thread? thanks for any help. bb

The 3 liter is left hand thread and yes you have to remove the clutch to replace the fan.
