when i driveing my van loses power then it race off again i put a new fuel pump in checked sender unit new fuel filter new air filter checked wireing for faults turn key over but wont fire up anybody can you advice

my guess is its sucking air in, maybe through the hand primer on top of the fuel filter.
Could wear many hats.Try process of elimation. check out the cataltic convertor.When they go out, Loss of power, after shuting off, hard starting.running hot. odor. What happens to one's converters the inside looks like a scale-down version of a honey bee's nest.The inside is all tiny Honeycomb.using a lot of bad gas, along with meththanol, alcohol,causes the tiny cones to begin melting, this will clog up the converter.causing the exhaust no way to escape.Engine not breathing properly will cause your problem.
