For the ranger years about 98 - 02: Which 4WD automatic vehicles came with the higher ratio (more engine revolutions for distance traveled) differentials? The off-road models, those with towing packages, both ? Does it depend upon whether 3L or 4L engine? How about supercab versus std? I have occasional & moderate towing requirements (less than a ton) and want decent mileage when not towing. Tnx Jim H.
