My 1998 Ka is cutting out intermittently while decelerating. Not really sure what could be causing this. Fairly inexpensive to rule out the fuel filter but can anyone tell me where this is located ?.

Hmm, I don't know for sure but try along the driver's side sub frame rail. That's a fave of Ford's.
The fuel filter is located on the leading edge of the fuel tank. The fuel filter clamp is fixed to the fuel tank by means of two rivets and the fuel filter is retained by the clamp with a single bolt. The fuel filter has a paper element contained within a steel canister. that help you any?
