Canada hates the USA?? What about Canadians?? them too?

Define "the rest of the world" Do you mean the Saudi Royal family? Do you mean Tony Blair? Do you mean to include the Millions of others around the world that love Americans?

I take it that you've never really traveled anywhere outside of the Tar Pit.

Define "u guys" do you mean the people in the twin towers or the people rounding up diaper heads in Afghanistan.

Not too bright are "we" Thank God I'm not driving through Alberta if this is the calibre of intelligence working on vehicles there. Lets do some simple math:

4 planes = 4 pilots licenses (min) plane Tickets (min 8), 8+ Student Visa's, accommodation & traveling budgets to the US flight training school, then to point of attack (for 8+). reconnaissance expenses. etc, etc, etc,

How exactly does this equal 1 pilots license cost?

Sadly, no. He just relied upon people such as yourself to do the work. In which case "smart" is a relative term.

IF ! (and this is a big if) Bin Laden was smart, he'd have found a way to get accepted back into his family back home, instead he's stuck in Pakistan with failing internal organs. Some genius.. Oh well I suppose he's got fans like you, that's gotta count for something

PS Drink the punch Leader Jim Jones said it's ok.

back to troll baiting:

well Moron... the "Minority" government of Paul Martin couldn't maintain a position they'd taken (to join in & get a discount ride on security). So they undermined our representative in Washington and flip-flopped.

Nothing new here in the Canadian context. Provided with an economical option the back is turned. Then when airlines blow out of the sky (I won't write Air India departing from Canada towards Scotland & Japan) like a bunch of chicken littles the politicians run around looking for political cover.

Canada can either work with the US, or actually pay for it's own military defense. & I can guarantee your socialist Alberta lifestyle won't be quite so enjoyable after paying for a military force.

And yes, before you spout, Alberta is Socialist, It's just being subsidized by the Tar pit.

Your Health care is private? Your pensions are private? Your roads, sewers, water police, fire and Universities are private?

When did the Royal CANADIAN Mounted Police become private? You've not only got no clue about vehicles, you have no clue about the funding of where you live. Not a good Canadian, perhaps a good newfie.. ;-) (stirring, stirring)

I'm no Yankee. I'm a real Canadian. We Canadians actually like most Americans. Don't particularly like their politics (and most often don't even like ours) or agree with the foreigh policy of their elected leaders - what's the use of banning Canadian Beef when the leaders of the country are already soft in the head?

I've met some awfully opinionated and detestable Americans, but next to Hurc they are all pussycats.

Hmm........

"In 2002-03, Alberta's age-sex adjusted health expenditures per capitawere the highest in Canada" If your health care is Private as you say.... When does the rest of the country receive it's health care transfer refund of the money that's been sent out there for Decades?

You might also want to visit the site and read that: "In Alberta, a typical two-income family earning $100,000 pays $7,261, approximately 35% less in combined taxes and health care insurance premiums than the average of the other provinces."

When they write "health care insurance premiums" they are referring to social medicine. So until Alberta opts out of National health insurance, you're under socialist medicine. IF Alberta opts out of the national health insurance program you'd better pray that oil stays above $50 per barrel & doesn't fall below $28.

If "the City" owns the water treatment, then it would, by definition NOT be private. "The City" is "The Public"

You are correct in that assumption. However my parents do live there (wanted to work in an area where there wasn't an enforcement on retirement age).

You also have a National "Socialist" pension. Look at your paycheque (if you receive one from Jiffy Lube) the Deduction would be listed under CPP

Isn't this fun ! Even a total idiot such as yourself can learn something about your tiny place in the big picture that is Socialist Canada.

All health care in Canada is publicly funded - Klein is working hard to change that out in the "state" of Oilberta. The RCMP ARE active in the city, but the local police force is more active, and more visible. They are also "public" - operated by the municipal government and funded by taxes. Who , by the way, is the city? It is the public - you and I. (Maybee not you - you are likely one of the tax evading anarchist anti-establishment immigrants who wants all of the advantages of being a canadian without the responsibilities. not to denigrate our immigrant population as a wholre)

Judging by some of his posts, hurc would have us riding camels (don't know how that would work out here in Oilberta... Storyland Valley zoo keeps their camels indoors when it rains... maybe they melt??) and wearing smelly, stained bedsheets.

The RCMP is a valuable source of law enforcement for smaller communities that cannot a police force of their own. The detachment stationed in Slave Lake consists of about 10 members plus office staff (we are also a COP community). We do pay a substantial sum to the feds for the service but it frees up municipal resources for us.

King Ralph has a lot of plans that many of us don't agree with but he has pulled Alberta out of debt and eradicated defecit spending...

I'd like to have seen King Ralph's results with the oil revenue's removed from the equation. Balanced books are easy to accomplish with enough revenue's coming in from natural resources.

Canada is too focused on deficits and not enough on growth. I'd rather run a 3% deficit per year with 6% economy growth than balanced books and near stagflation.

You are demonstrating your amazing lack of comprehension of basic economics. I'd like to see Alberta try and go 3 months without selling oil to the US.

The US can afford to purchase fuel anywhere on the open market.

Alberta can only afford to sell it to the US.

(You know, that whole pipeline, distribution thing).
