Remove tensioner 98 Taurus

How do we remove the drive belt tensioner on a 98 Taurus 3.0 liter engine? I am helping my husband replace the water pump and we have to remove the tensioner.

i had to use a 40 or 45 T torx socket to get to mine on a 93 taurus... guess they still use the same type bolt??????
