Have noticed a noise coming from what sounds like the drivers side front wheel on my It's 1.6 1994 Escort
It can come and go randomly, but tends to be heard more when not accelerating, and when braking.
Have had the wheel off and can find nothing obvious, no play in driveshaft or wheel bearing. Brake discs and pads are only about 5000 miles in from new fitting.
Any ideas? - it is quite audible when it is occuring most of the time. It almost sounds like a cable tie hasn't been trimmed and is attached to the driveshaft as it sounds as if it's wheel revolution related.
