Just purchased a 2003 Focus with the PZev 2.3L engine. I was just wondering if there's any known issues with this vehicle. I've checked the recalls on this vehicle, and haven't found any that would be of concerne. If anyone here owns a similiar vehicle, please post your comments/findings. Thanks everyone!!

Yes, the ignition switch lock cylinder is defective, and will continually fail to unlock. The best solution is to leave out all of the tumblers, so it can not leave you stranded unexpectedly. The transponder still prevents theft.
