1996 Ranger?

Had a problem, (I think) w the positive lead from the battery to the starter/relay. Kind of a pain to replace, much to my amazement I have no juice in the trucks electrical system with the exception of the relay itself. I can jumper the relay and get the engine to turn over, but the rest of the vehicle is still apparently juiceless? Any thoughts? TIA John Cairns

Did you fail to return the wire that supplies power to the electrical system? Sometimes there are two wires attached at the battery post or the relay. Or worse an open fuseable link. See those wide bulky things on the power lines coming away from the battery? Check those out.
