1997 Ranger-Dash lights

Dec 10, 2006 2 Replies

Hi Does anyone know the best approach to replacing dash lights on a '97 Ranger? I'm not sure whether to start digging from the top side or underside to begin to find them. Any help would be MUCH appreciated. Thanx in advance.

Pull the entire cluster out. Then replace bulbs.

Exactly. You'll have to take the cluster out. It's not very hard. Just be careful not to brake the clips that hold the trim pieces in place. As to the cluster itself, the speedo is driven electronically, so there's no speedo cable to fight with.
