Thanks for the tip I just did this today to my 97 F150 5.4L and it worked fantastically, did have a bit of trouble loosening the tensioner,( requires 1/2" drive ratchet)- also remember to pull out the plastic piece holding the brushes in place prior to install. Or you will get to practice removing alt again! peace
