Last 4 days I have had two problems with my truck. After strating I had gone a few feet and the motor just stoped but restarted easy ?. Today I had to try three times before it would run , and after that all seems fine now ?. I would like to know if anyone can tell me what the problem could be . Thanks for any help on the above.

Most likely needs a cam position sensor.
Low oil level will also cause a similar problem.

Does this just happen from a cold start? If so, your batteries could be weak, glow plugs or controller could be bad, or it could just be way too cold to be starting without plugging in. If it isn't cold, you could need a cps.
It is held on by two bolts, and located on the left front of the flywheel as you're looking at it. Unless the bolts are completely froze up, it shouldn't take more than about ten minutes to change.
If the bolt isn't frozen in place, replacing the cps is a 10 minute job at the most. That includes a 5 minute coffee break.
And that 10 minutes includes a 5 minute coffee break.
I wouldn't know. I broke two sockets trying to get the f******* bolts off. After a I couldn't get enough torque on a wrench and lost a third socket in the gravel driveway I paid too much to have somebody else fight with it. Hopefully it'll be easier next time, I carry one in the glove box just in case.
Next time put a little Kroil on the problem bolt and tap it lightly with a small ball peen hammer.
I'll try it, anything beats the price I paid.
