Until the dealer has the swtich in stock ?

I took my 92 van in to the dealer to disconnect it and deal said no charge as that is part of the recall. Mine happens to be down by the frame instead of the end ofthe master cylinder. I need to wait until December before they get the part. Dealer has about 300 on order.

Took to the dealer today. They pull the plug under the hood near the driver's side and tape it up. Will wiat for the parts in December.

The dealer will never have the switch in stock, the part they install as the Recall Part is a harness with a fuse built in. There is a wiring harness connected to the front of the Master Cylinder, unplug the harness from here, plug the recall part in, then plug the vehicle harness back in to the new connector.

You can disconnect the vehicle harness from the master cylinder to disable the Cruise Control.
