air condition of a 2001 Ranger

Hello,

I have a 2001 Ranger. Does Ford use a special kind of air conditioner? Compare to other vehicles and trucks, it seems to me that it only takes a very short time for the Ranger's air condition to kick in to blow out nice cold air. I am here in Phoenix and the temperature is hitting 110F. Other vehicles take at least 5 to 10 minutes for the air cond. to get cold but Ford only takes about a couple of minutes. Does Ford use a differenent kind of condensor and circulation system? Any comments. Thanks

I noticed that in my '01 Ranger too. Our '01 F150 doesn't even come close. And I just took a ride in a new Super Duty. Around town slow speed driving, neither get cold, whereas my Ranger blasts frigid air!
