It's used to raise the engine rpm for various reasons (avoid wet stacking in cold weather, charge protect, etc) and yes, you can simply unplug it. They sell quite well on ebay....they are NOT a cheap item from Ferd.
i guess my next question is what is wet stacking, at what temperture would i need to raise the rpm, to what rpm would it need to be raised, and where can i find out more about how to use it? thanks much!
