Will replacing the fuel filter on my 99 Ranger show any improvement in perforance? Just curious! Thanks

Depends upon how long it has been on there, and how dirty it is. Should be done about every 30k. Same goes for air filter. Also cleaning injectors with the type of cleaner that hooks up to the fuel rail could help a lot.
Or you can put Chevron Fuel System cleaner in the tank every 5th tank or so and taht will keep the system clean..
