I saw this working on Star Trek just a few days ago.

And it only costs $599.00 for the equipment and $15/mo subscription plus additional per use charges.

It is cool to imagine tracking your stolen vehicle to a neighborhood, in say Compton,CA, and then triggering the horn to start blaring so you could hear it in the thief's garage or yard. Getting the police to come and recover your vehicle might present another problem all together.

I can just see your company having that. You're minding your own business driving down the road and suddenly the engine shuts off. 10 mnutes later after you're racking your brains, it starts up again. Your sound asleep in the bunk and the air horn sounds off.

On the nice side, you can lock the keys inside the truck and open the doors with a phone call.

If the truck is stolen, just shut them down.

Teenage boy out on a hot date? While the kid is romantically parked, start the car, sound the horn, play with the locks.

Now if they could only manage a remote unit to do the driving too.
