depends on what unit your talking about if your going with the unit at autozone it?s not real hard just watch the video tape and follow the color coded wire instructions i had mine on in maybe a couple of hour now i guess these new ones at wally world (walmart) are a 15 min install must install into the computer the only tough thing with the autozone one is positioning your self to get to the ignition wiring box underdash thats the only tough part i hope this helps

The one im looking at is bulldog security and its an alarm /starter/keyless entry all in one unit. checked the autozone one and it doesnt offer the same features.. Thanx for the reply.
