removal of the tilt mechanism from the steering column in 85 ford

I am trying to remove the tilt mechanism from the steering colum and chilton doesn't help on that but haynes did state how to but I am not sure where the pins that it referrs to are so if anyone can help that would be great or can tell me how to remove it that would be great...
