Thank you all for the advise on engine braking. Is the second alternator a factory only option? What are the advantages and disadvantages of having a second alternator?

- Yes.....the ECM and wiring harness are different. Others have tried to add one, it's a MAJOR undertaking to the point of not doable.
- Well, faster charging and a higher capacity come to mind
- Another thing to F up and leave you stranded
