Does anyone have - can email me - the instructions for replacing the front left side view mirror on a '98 Explorer. I have the new mirror but have been unable to either figure out how to remove the door side panel, or find the proper instructions at the local library (and they had extensive manuals - Chiltons was worthless).

Funny how they keep printing over and over how to re-build an engine and don't go into the changes like how the interior is put together.
Also it bothers me is how the interior is held togther by "hidden from veiw methods" and that information a guy really could use to speed up the process. So they leave that out! ? :/
Anyway, buy a set of speakers for the doors in that vehicle from Crutchfield and you'll get the most detailed line drawings you'll ever see about how to get it apart and back together, without damage. They need to publish them or something.
