I replaced the spark plugs in my '94 F-150 (with 302). I bought Motorcraft AFS-42C. A diagram under the hood says the gap should be
052-.056. So I set my gap and installed the plugs. It ran like crap! So, I go and buy new plug wires. Same thing! Now I'm thinking the plug gap for these particular plugs may be .044. I have noticed in the past, spark plug gap is usually OK right out of the box. Would .010 make such a difference?
