I put in a new egr valve in a 94 ranger and apparently loosened some hoses and they are gone. There is a bracket that is attached at one end to the egr valve. Attached to this bracket is a device that has one electrical plug and two air hose connections. The hoses are gone. What is this thing and how and where do I reattach the hoses? Thanks. Dave

DPFE sensor
Have to be special heat resistance hoses Be aware that they are 2 different sizes
They go from EGR tube to that sensor
Thanks for your help but that is not the one. I replaced the DPFS and it is hooked up to the EGR tube. The one I am having trouble with sits a bit aft and below the EGR valve and is directly connected to a thin bracket that fits on the lower bolt to the EGR valve. Well at least I have cured the spark knock I had and other things but I have one bad vacuum leak now. I just do not see where this thing connects. Dave
Get the ford part number from it and do a Google search. You'll find out right away.
