How hard a job is it to change a water pump in a 89 Buick Electra 3800 engine ?

They are not really that hard to do. The hard part is lack of space to work in. If you can keep caulm, and not lose your temper, it's an easy job. Having stuff like gear wrenches helps.
Book time is 1.9 hours. Charles

If the engine doesn't use the front engine mount, (which I don't think this year does) then it's quite possibly one of the easiest water pumps to replace.
