Apparently Toyota extends its appeal


Perhaps but a companion article in the Tribune News Papers says, the Insurance Institute says Toyota lags behind in safety compared to most of its competitors, particularly in rear collisions. Many buyers are more concerned about safety than any perceived long term dependability, since they replace their cars in three to four years on average, and domestics are not as costly to purchase. ;)
