speedometer problems on 93 Bonneville

Hi all,

I'm in the process of acquiring a 94' Bonny cluster. Is this interchangeable with my 93' Bonny?

The problem is that the Speedometer is either pointing all the way to the left when parked or all the way to the right when driving or sometimes in park.

I used an OBD sensor while driving and the speed the vehicle speed on the OBD reading seems to be correct. 0 km/hr when parked and the speed would gradually increase as I accelerate. So that points me to a bad speedometer. All the other gauges are working except for the speedometer.

So before picking up the 94' cluster, will it work on my 93' Bonny. If not then, will replacing the cluster with the same model year fix the problem?
