Radiator is starting to leak at the top seam, where the top plactic is held down by a serrated band over a gasket. Could that be repaired or should I just replace the radiator? This is a 4 cylinder.

you're right on schedule! not repairable - just replace. mid-priced aftermarket radiators are ok quality and not very expensive.
Just to give you some of my own experience with aftermarket radiators....
On my 95 Integra I replaced it about 3 years ago with one from performance radiator. It held up for about 3 years and 3 months. It started leaking just out of the 3 year warranty. I ended up trying two radiators from advance auto parts and both had a problem with getting a fan to mount on the radiator. I had to then purchase another radiator from performance radiator as I'm not planning on keeping the Integra for much longer. This worked well for 2 months and I had to replace it again as it started leaking, thank goodness this time under warranty.
At the same time I bought one from the same company for my 95 Accord and that radiator is still working well.
If I planned on keeping the car for a long time, I would purchase one OEM one from the dealer; on my Integra it ended up costing me more time (removing the radiator 4 times) and about the same cost for two radiators as it would has ran me for the OEM.

"Its going into the Honda dealership, tomorrow where i bought it. Excellent service from that car! 150,000 miles, driven hard in Western Pa, bad winters, Pittsburgh, and still lookes great! No rust, even the axles are still painted! Ori ginal exhaust system. Had the cat converter go out, took it to the dealer, at 85,000, and it was taken care of, under some hidden warrenty, maybe the warranty was still in effect, cant remember.
They will but in a Denso OEM, I hope it works out ok. Iwas looking at a 08 Accord, while I was setting this up..... and maybe ...
all of the above are why i avoid the cheap stuff. the better quality aftermarkets are just fine in my experience.
Please let me know how much you end up paying for this repair. I'd like to get a feel as to how much they charge for this.
What aftermarket manufactures do you recommend?
Thanks, Nick
