it was never a good intention, it was a rort from the start. a rort to support the farming vote. a rort to line the pockets of the oil companies. and a rort to support a detroit that makes more money standing on street corners of the capitol whining for handouts than it does figuring out how to build cars properly.
but not to worry, the great american taxpayer will come to the rescue. or at least, those whose jobs have not been shipped to china, who are not upside down on their mortgages and who are not debt slaves...
