Accords And Non-Splittable Rear Seats ?

Jul 05, 2013 1 Replies

Hi,

Was quite interested in a new Accord, but once I saw that they don't have a Split rear seat, that's it for Accords.

What could they be thinking.

Is it worth the buck or two saved, per car, by not splitting it to lose a multitude of sales, probably, to folks with a baby seat in the back ?

They used to always be split. Their competion has.

What are you supposed to do ?

Remove the seat each time you need some extra room, AND leave the kid home ? Then re-install the seat; each time ?

Am I missing something ? Thoughts ?

Bob

it's called "mba engineering". if you need the "kid" or "transport more than a few shopping bags" function, the new improved detroit-styled honda want you to pay $10-$20k more for the suv or minivan models they'll happily sell you instead.

as fpr solutions - just buy kia or hyundai. all the function honda used to have, lower price, and better warranty.
