Thanks for all the help on my brake question-- now one on cold starting:
'07 EX-L V6 sedan, 45,000 miles, garaged, fully maintained per owner's
manual and maintenance minder.
Starting about a year ago-- on cold start (winter or summer), the car
starts immediately and runs smoothly. But I live at the bottom of a
long, steep hill and when I drive up it, the car sorta' chugs and the
automatic transmission seems to be upshifting too soon. I'm thinking the
engine is straining. If I hold it in a lower gear it doesn't seem to do it.
Once the car warms up, it pulls fine up the hill.
