How many Hondas have you owned?

The dealers around here do not have a lot of civic's to begin with. There are always a few, though, and about half seem to be manual, my guess being that they probably move a bit more slowly.

There are also plenty of Accord's on the lot, and probably about 10-15% of them are Manual...

The '79 hatchback was a favorite of mine. Got hit in the rear end by a Chrysler Newport (late 70's model) going about 60 mph. Pushed the rear axle back under the car, while I ended up in the back seat. I was at a red light with a car in front of me, and I looked up in the mirror and saw he was going to plow me. I just kind of laid back in the seat and waited.

1 each of the 1st 6 Civic generations, I think...

Had:

1979 Civic Hatchback (bought used) 1982 Civic 4 Dr (used) 1986 CRX Si (new) 1988 Integra SE (new) - Civic platform based 1992 Civic 4 Dr (new)

Have:

1997 Civic 4 Dr (bought new, 103K miles now) -- still drive every day, only repairs that were not regular maintenance were muffler and battery.
