Pliers (for hose clamps)


> Ratchet
> 10mm socket
> 2" extension
> 12mm socket or wrench
> #3 Phillips screwdriver (optional-- for removing petcock).

> Remove fans (3 10mm bolts)
> Remove lower hose from engine (pliers)
> Remove trans cooler hoses from transmission (pliers)
> Remove radiator upper mounts (2 12mm bolts)
> Unbolt radiator from condensor (4 10mm bolts-- 2 on top, 2 about halfway > down)
> Remove radiator from vehicle.
> Swap hoses from old to new radiator.
> Install in reverse.

When unbolting the compressor, does this the freon from the ac system? And if so, will it damage the ac system?
