Ford bought Jaguar in 1989 making the first impressions on the line with the
1990 model XJ40. There are major and notable differences between the 1989 XJ40 and the 1990 XJ40 including a different power plant, different braking system different electronics. Ford's total control of the line came with the 1995 X300 models.Webserve
