Hi I have just got myself an X-type 2.5 SE (2001) the Radio seems to have all that is need to act as a phone and the steering wheel has some phone controls also!
So what do I need to get / do to get an integrated phone for it?
I haven't picked the Jag up yet so I can't give any more information until next week if its needed! I can't seem to find any information on what's needed!

It may have a preinstalled phone cable harness, if specified at outset. On the radio you can only get upgrades fitted ie overpriced cd changer via a Jag dealer, as Alpine wont sell to anyone else. Connection for radio is via special fibre optic cabling; unsure if they use same system for phone.
