At 29,500 miles, the transmission on my KJ started giving a very solid "thump" whenever it disengages from overdrive. Has anybody else experienced this issue? Any ideas as to its cause? The eprom has already been flashed by the dealer with the latest update.

The "flash" was indeed the solution. The reason it didn't appear to resolve it was that the dealership's mechanic forgot to clear memory and allow it to retrain. Once it was cleared and retrained, everything went to normal.
