Jeep idols fine when accelerating slowly no problems, but when you accelerate fast four cylinders stop firing. Any suggestions?

Pizzabob did pass the time by typing:

weak coil, bad plugs/wires/cap/rotor, bad engine ground strap.

I would first change the fuel filter likely because it is due and second I would open up the distributor cap to see what it and the rotor look like.

I also would be checking the air filter because the CCV pipe might have blocked with age and puked a mess of oil in the air filter which will choke it out when you goose it.
