No spark fro the coil wire No spark after replacing the coil and the ignition control module Could it be the sync signal generator or is it the electronic control module?

'Crankshaft position sensor', not 'crank case position sensor'.

And the other 1 percent, the ground strap from the rear of the engine to the firewall is rotted. I use a booster cable from the battery neg to the firewall to check that.

You could try unplugging the connector, clean and tighten terminals and then reinstall with some Di-Electric Silicone Grease. If it works you could go for a little while maybe, but plan on purchasing a new CPS soon. It might also be a defective ign. switch, but you should be able to test that easily with a voltmeter. later, dave
