Sir, My rear "bow" slides on a track, bolted to the body, the bestop shows a rear bow angling off at a 45deg angle fromn the middle bow, mine doesnt have this,

my rear bow,, the feet will slide foreward to loosen, after un-coupling a plastic tube that holds a folding rod from the center-bow to the rear bow,

sorry if im confusing you, this vertical rod sits above the rear windows, going from center-bow back to rear-bow,hinging in the center, to loosen everything up

any other makers?

help,,, thanks,, johnp

O.K. sorry i dug further, and i see the replacement top, #51120, thats mine, but it doesnt say weather it all can be folded back still attached to the bows, or everything taken off,

do you take it all off and cram it behind the rear seat? (there goes storage,)

how do you guys out there do it? complete removal?

whatabout if yr traviling long distance?

reason im askin is i want to head for ariz after xmass, and when i hit nice weather id like to take the top off, and am wondering were to put everything

thanks, johnp

That is what I do with mine.. When I take the top down.. I just kind of fold it and shove in the back part.. I would love to just take it off and leave it off but with South Carolina weather changing like underwear in the spring and summer.. You never go to far without a top.. As for this coming spring and summer.. I have my new bikini top waiting for me under the tree this year.. Come on Spring.. :)
